In accordance with Regulation 853/2004 and Regulation (EU) No 786/2013, the limits of marine biotoxins in shellfish meat or any other consumable part separately are as follows:

for paralytic shellfish poison (PSP), 800 micrograms of saxitoxin equivalents diHCl per kilogram; 

for amnesic shellfish poison (ASP), 20 milligrams of domoic acid per kilogram; toxins (ASP):

for okadaic acid and dinophysistoxins together 160 micrograms of okadaic acid equivalents per kilogram;

for yessotoxins, 3,75 milligrams of yessotoxin equivalent per kilogram;

for azaspiracids, 160 micrograms of azaspiracid equivalents per kilogram.
